- (6/7/18) 7th grade parents! On behalf of the 7-2 teachers, I would like to invite you to attend our 4th quarter 7-2 Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on the last day of school 6/29 in the auditorium at 1:30. It has been a pleasure teaching your children this year! They have made tremendous growth and we are proud of the work they have done. The ceremony should last about an hour. If you choose to take your child with you after the ceremony, please be sure to sign them out at the front office. Students will also be given some time on this day to sign yearbooks. If you didn't purchase a yearbook but would like to, please contact the main office. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to seeing you on the 29th!
- (6/7/18) 8th grade parents! On behalf of the 8-2 teachers, I want to invite you to our end of the year awards ceremony. What a wonderful group of students! We are sad to see them go, but excited to see what the future holds for them. We have an exciting day planned for our 8th graders on the the last day of school, 6/29! They will begin the day with the traditional 8th grade rock signing. We will also provide some time for them to sign yearbooks. The yearbooks have not been distributed yet. If you didn't order one, but would like to purchase one, please call the main office. The awards ceremony will take place at 10 am, in the LLC (Media Center). Due to the limited space we ask that only immediate family attend. Immediately following the awards, we will move outside for our brunch. This will give us some time to take pictures and mingle. Everything will be wrapped up by 11:30. While we appreciate the significance of the end of middle school, we want to remind everyone that this is an informal awards ceremony, not a graduation ceremony. We hope to make this special event memorable for the students, parents and teachers. Thanks to all of the parents who have signed up to donate items. We appreciate your support! If you choose to take your student with you after the ceremony, please make sure that you sign them out in the front office. The 7-2/8-2 teachers will be holding the 7-2 awards ceremony in the afternoon. Mrs. Richardson (Track 8-1) will be with the 8-2 students that stay for the afternoon. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for sharing your precious gifts with us this year! We look forward to seeing you on the 29th!
